Welcome to Path of Beauty Productions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Welcome to Path of Beauty Productions, founded by Barbara Huntoon, inspired from many years of traveling to art events while filming, printing, matting, framing along the way, as (the late) Rex A. Begaye and Barbara lived for 15 years, throughout the Native American and fine art circuit. His passing in 2013 inspired her mission to preserve his legacy of art, music, film and photography, which this studio provided and served us beautifully through the lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n

The space was a former dog kennel, and over a 4+ year period, it became a fine art gallery, apothecary, recording studio, print frame shop, musical rehearsal studio with a small organic food forest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Path of Beauty Production studio was a place to focus on creation and production through the C19 lockdown. Originally a gallery was to be opened, then the focus was redirected by the circumstances, so it became a “Creation Station” for art, music, dance, natural medicine and organic gardening and cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n

At the end of 2022 the studio building was sold and what remains are the progression of film, photography and recordings that took place, this will be one of several films in production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A short documentary about (the late) Rex A Begaye and his journey to Sarasota. This film is Barbara\u2019s introduction to share with the world, their life together and the love they shared, which leads the path of this journey she is on to preserve his legacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Path of Beauty full length Film documentary is in production, which shares the story about the artist’s life. We will be posting updates here as the project progresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, the “PathofBeauty….in the beginning” film is being reedited, registered and licensed. We will share the film soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Feather Gallery Film Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Path of Beauty…Harmony in the beginning” is the story of Rex A Begaye’s journey to Sarasota and the history of the journey Barbara and Rex took together from 1998 to 2013, when Rex passed on. Barbara continued his legacy with his festival and created this film to share with the world their journey together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Path of Beauty part two is in production. The legacy of (the late) Rex A Begaye is the documentary of his life. Over the years, Rex and Barbara collected both film and photography, documenting their travels across the country doing Native events and fine art shows. Please see the gallery page<\/a> for more images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The First Feather Gallery film is also in production, which will share the process of creating the studio through 4 years of design process. This film will be released by Fall 2025.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
